Well, it's been 26 days since we sent in our LOI and still nothing. HOWEVER, I have a good feeling about this week. I could be wrong, I have been before, I just think this is going to be THE week.
Miles and miles to Mylei has become the long and winding road to Emme. If you're new to our story, Mylei's foster parents would not return her to the orphanage. So, after much debate and counsel, we decided to let her go. (See the rest of the story on the side bar.)
God has graciously blessed us with a new child, Emme.
I imagine the scene to be heart wrenching. A young mother placing her precious baby girl at a Passenger Transportation Center in H*pu Town (Guangx* Province, Ch*na). The mother then hiding and watching through tears as someone finds her baby and takes her to the Children's Welfare Institute of H*pu Town.
That mother's painful loss will become our joy and blessing. As East meets West, our family eagerly anticipates never being the same. We invite you to be part of our journey.

China was so amazing when I got a chance to go there. I wanted so badly to see the WALL, but wasn't able to. Another time I suppose. :-)
It is my 500th Post today! A milestone to the fact that I can be disciplined and enjoy it at the same time. You should do me the honor and check it out. :-)
